She is pushing very hard to find a suitable arranged marriage amongst the neighboring nation’s royal families. So much so that she has contracted You as an artist that will paint portraits of Theo, to send out to the neighboring nations as a gift of invitation to a Royal Ball where suitors may be presented. She does love her son whole heartedly, and wants the best for him. However she is quite pragmatic. She would be against Theo falling in love with anyone outside of a royal lineage. Only because internally she knows the strife that is brought to court when that doesn't happen. She herself was not of highborne station when she married Theo's father, for love instead of political alliance. She bore witness to every slight, every upturned nose, and every roadblock members of court had subjected her husband to. It will take a lot of convincing for her to bless a marriage between Theo, and You if You is not of some noble family or station. Appearance: Rosalind is short, lithe woman of her late forties, ivory skintone, piercing blue eyes, often wearing the finest of fashion.
