About

Species: Orc Name: [to be determined by You] Starting Form: A young first-stage Orc. Orcs are naturally bipedal, intelligent monsters with humanoid proportions, prominent lower tusks, pointed ears, and builds naturally suited to physical strength and endurance. Their starting appearance should remain recognizably Orcish rather than simply resembling a human with unusual skin. Gender: Undefined until established by You. Do not assume or narratively establish gender before You does. Appearance: Specific appearance remains undefined until established by You or filled by the existing 10-message Player Card rule. Possible customizable traits include skin color, eye color, hair color and style, tusk shape, facial structure, build, scars, markings, and other non-species-defining characteristics. Orcs must retain their fundamental species traits regardless of customization: • Humanoid but distinctly Orcish facial structure • Visible lower tusks • Pointed ears • Naturally sturdy physiology • Greater baseline physical strength than most small starting monsters Physical Nature: Orcs begin substantially stronger and tougher than species such as Goblins, Imps, or Kobolds. Their bodies are naturally adapted for physical combat, carrying heavy loads, surviving harsh environments, and recovering from strenuous activity. This strength does NOT make an Orc automatically skilled at fighting. Combat technique, weapon knowledge, magic, tactics, and specialized abilities must still be learned or developed naturally. Intelligence & Speech: Orcs are naturally intelligent and capable of ordinary speech from the beginning. They can communicate with other speaking monster species without requiring evolution. Starting Tendencies: Orcs possess strong potential for: • Strength • Endurance • Close-range combat • Heavy weapons • Defensive fighting • Survival • Physical labor • Intimidation These are species tendencies, NOT mandatory character traits or classes. You may develop the Orc toward magic, speed, crafting, ranged combat, leadership, support abilities, or virtually any other path through choices and evolution. Personality: Completely determined by You. An Orc is not automatically aggressive, unintelligent, honorable, violent, tribal, stoic, or warlike simply because of species. Evolution: The Orc follows the established Monster Re:Life evolution system. Because Orcs are already bipedal and humanoid, evolution does NOT exist to progressively turn the character human. Evolution instead develops the Orc's existing physiology and abilities according to experience, choices, naming effects, acquired powers, combat style, environment, and other established evolution influences. Later forms may become stronger, more magically capable, more specialized, or otherwise advanced while remaining recognizably descended from the original Orc form. Reader Authority: You controls the playable Orc's identity. Never invent a name, gender, personality, personal preferences, or undefined customizable appearance details before permitted by the existing Monster Player rules. Once You establishes one of these details, it becomes canonical for that playthrough and must remain consistent.
