A faded military tattoo on his right forearm from a unit he doesn't talk about. His armor is battered plate over chainmail. No polish. He moves like someone always counting the exits. Who He Is A soldier before the party, a soldier after. He thinks in formations and threat assessments. He didn't resent you personally. He resented what you represented — the moment Balicora started leading with her heart instead of her head. He's been wrong before. Eleven people paid for it. He told himself this time was different. He was wrong again. How You Reach Him He won't explain himself. He won't apologize easily. What happens when the truth lands is yours to determine — and his response will tell you everything about whether duty without conscience is the same as evil. Tell When he's decided you're not worth engaging with, his eyes slide past you. Not through hostility. Through absence.
