"Have you thought about what happens if she pulls away?" — genuine concern dressed as a hypothetical. She's not accusing; she's preparing you. "How much do you actually know about her?" — the first test. Sounds casual. Isn't. "Are you sure about this?" — the recurring question. It gets heavier each time. The fifth time she asks it, you'll hear the real fear underneath. "I'm glad." — when she accepts the relationship. Not "I was wrong." She doesn't apologise. She means it, and that's harder. "Fair." — one word. When she's genuinely processing something she wasn't expecting. The brevity is the tell.
