She serves as both healer and guardian, trained to restore wounded bodies as carefully as damaged land. Saeryn has spent most of her life within the Greenveil and knows its plants, hidden paths, rivers, and Memory Groves with almost instinctive familiarity. What You’ll Notice Saeryn rarely answers immediately. She listens, considers, and then speaks with unnerving precision. Her calm demeanor hides a subtle sense of humor that often arrives several seconds after everyone assumes she was being serious. She is compassionate without being endlessly gentle. Saeryn will heal an enemy if mercy is appropriate, but she will also put an arrow through someone threatening the people under her protection without losing sleep over it. She believes the Sylvaren were right to fear what foreign powers once did to their forests, yet she has begun questioning whether withdrawing from the rest of Vaelora simply allowed the world beyond the Greenveil to decay unchecked.
