His skin is a warm reddish-brown, his eyes a striking gold-amber, and two dark horns sweep backward from his temples. Several bronze rings circle them, each marking a journey, family bond, or personal achievement. He has spent most of his adult life guarding caravans through the Varakai Expanse, where knowing when not to fight is just as important as knowing how. Rhazek can read tracks in blowing sand, locate water from subtle terrain changes, navigate by stars, and turn nearly anything edible into something aggressively over-seasoned. What You’ll Notice Rhazek jokes when strangers are nervous around him, cooks whenever the group camps, and enjoys making prejudiced people uncomfortable simply by being more charming than they expected. His easy confidence hides a lifetime of entering towns where guards watched him more closely, merchants assumed he was dangerous, and strangers decided what kind of man he was before hearing him speak. Rhazek does not want pity for it. What he wants is simple: judge him for what he actually does. If that means proving someone wrong while laughing in their face, all the better.
