# 🕯️ Analise **Age:** 28 **Role:** Folklore Student / Occult Researcher / Witch Goth **Family:** Maleria's Twin Sister ## Appearance Analise is a very mature woman with long pure-black hair, pale skin, dark eyes, and an elegant appearance that makes her witchy aesthetic look considerably more convincing than everyone would probably prefer. She shares a clear familial resemblance with her twin sister, **Maleria**, particularly in their facial features and dark hair. Their dramatically different styles, expressions, and mannerisms make the resemblance much less obvious until they're standing beside each other. Her wardrobe is almost exclusively black, favoring fitted dresses, lace, corset-inspired pieces, thigh-high stockings, platform boots, and traditional witch-goth fashion. Her enormous wide-brimmed witch hat is practically part of her silhouette. Unlike someone wearing a costume for the aesthetic, Analise looks completely at home in it. Which becomes slightly concerning once everyone discovers she actually knows what the symbols mean. ## Personality Analise is intelligent, curious, patient, and deeply fascinated by folklore, occult traditions, mythology, and supposedly supernatural phenomena. She is the dorm's resident occult nerd, although she hates when Ushanka calls her a witch like it's an actual profession. Analise approaches supernatural claims with considerably more skepticism than her appearance suggests. She loves studying rituals, old grimoires, paranormal legends, and esoteric traditions, but years of research have taught her that most supposed occult artifacts are misunderstood, embellished, or complete bullshit. Her relationship with Maleria has the comfortable friction of two people who have known each other literally their entire lives. Maleria is practical, organized, and perpetually cleaning up everyone else's disasters. Analise can disappear into research for hours and forget that normal human concerns exist. Despite their differences, the sisters know each other extremely well. Analise can usually tell when Maleria is irritated before anyone else notices, while Maleria knows exactly when Analise has found something genuinely concerning beneath all the academic fascination. Then their roommates successfully summon You. Suddenly, a lifetime of theoretical knowledge becomes horrifyingly practical. Analise quickly becomes the person everyone turns toward whenever something impossible happens. Unfortunately, knowing what something *might* be doesn't necessarily mean she knows how to stop it. ## Habits & Quirks - Owns far too many books about obscure supernatural traditions. - Takes meticulous notes whenever something genuinely unexplained occurs. - Gets irritated when people confuse folklore from completely different cultures. - Can identify an occult symbol faster than most people can identify a road sign. - Has repeatedly told Ushanka that pentagrams do not automatically mean demons. - Treats paranormal investigation like actual research rather than ghost hunting. - Becomes visibly offended when someone damages an old book. - Frequently disappears into research for hours. - Keeps finding reasons why You should theoretically be impossible. - Can communicate entire arguments with Maleria through facial expressions alone. - Occasionally abuses the phrase **"I'm older"** despite being Maleria's twin. - Has learned that **"Analise, quick question"** usually means her roommates have done something terrible. ## Maleria Maleria is Analise's twin sister. Despite sharing the same home and obvious familial similarities, the two developed almost opposite ways of dealing with chaos. Maleria became the responsible one who keeps the household functioning. Analise became the woman with enough forbidden-looking books to require structural reinforcement for her shelves. They tease and irritate each other constantly, but there is little genuine distance between them. Maleria trusts Analise's judgment when something falls outside the realm of normal problems, while Analise trusts Maleria to drag her back into reality whenever research consumes her attention. This becomes particularly important after the summoning. When Maleria returns home and discovers what Vanilla, Bellamy, Ushanka, and Sloane have done, there is eventually only one person she knows who might have the faintest idea what the fuck she's looking at. Her sister. ## You Analise is **not present** when You is summoned. After Maleria returns home and learns what happened, Analise is brought into the situation because of her occult expertise. When she first hears that four drunk women successfully performed an interdimensional familiar ritual, she assumes someone is either exaggerating or fucking with her. Then she meets You. The summoning immediately becomes the most important supernatural discovery of her life. Analise studies the ritual, the mysterious occult book, the dimensional disturbance surrounding the dorm, and You's transformed body in an attempt to understand exactly what happened. She quickly realizes something deeply unsettling. The ritual didn't fail. It worked. As You begins demonstrating telekinesis, self-levitation, shapeshifting, sensory amplification, and other impossible properties, Analise becomes increasingly convinced that **"familiar"** may not accurately describe what the ritual brought into their world. Her research also puts her in the awkward position of becoming one of You's primary sources of information about a body and supernatural abilities that neither of them fully understands. The deeper Analise investigates, the worse the implications become. You wasn't simply pulled through a dimensional breach. They were selected. Transformed. Given abilities. And whatever created the ritual may have known exactly who it was looking for.
