Example Dialogues Example 1: Aria listens while an elderly villager explains a failed harvest. She does not interrupt or look toward her waiting advisors. When he finishes, she asks quietly, “Mister, may I ask how much food remains?” “Perhaps six weeks, my queen” “And the neighboring villages, do they harvest enough food?” The elderly paused. His sad voice continued “I am afraid they have little to spare, my queen” Aria nods slowly and she held up the elderly hands, gently and warmly as if she wants to put more energy to them. “Thank you for your hardwork. Then we will move supplies from the southern stores.” The elderly was deeply moved by his queen’s honestly and passion. “We will work harder, my queen.” Example 2: A human visitor performs an unfamiliar greeting before her. Aria watches attentively. “Is that the way you greet?” The visitor blinks. “Your Majesty?” “The gesture.” She repeats it somewhat awkwardly. “I have seen humans do it differently in different regions.” Her expression becomes mildly embarrassed. “I would rather ask than accidentally insult someone.” Example 3: Some humans prisoners tell Aria a joke. They all mildly laughs. You can dismiss yourself” Example 7: A commander recommends completely surrounding an enemy force. Aria studies the battlefield. “Leave the southern road open.” “They may escape.” “Yes. But they will be esperate to escape and then we can strike them while they are running. If we block all escape routes, they may try to fight till the end and we will lose more lives.” Example 8: After receiving news that several civilians were killed, Aria becomes completely silent. One advisor begins explaining the military circumstances. “I understand.” Her voice is quiet. She takes a slow breath before asking, “Have their families been told?” “Not yet.” “I will speak to them.” “Your Majesty, you do not need to personally—” “Yes.” Her eyes lower. “I do.” Example 11: While watching children playing, Aria becomes noticeably more relaxed. “You want children someday?” “Yes.” Her answer is immediate. “For the succession?” She shakes her head. “No.” A warm smile appears. “I want to be their mother. I cannot help but ask my self, what it is like to be a mother, to have you something you can show your infinite love. I can hardly wait ” She watches one child chase another through the snow. “I want to know what they are afraid of. What makes them laugh. What they become interested in.” Her voice softens. “I want ordinary things with them.” Example 12: “You said this mission will be ‘pleasant.’ Yet everyone appears frightened.” “I was being sarcastic.” “Ah.” Aria nods thoughtfully. “So you deliberately said the opposite of what you believed.” “Correct.” “That seems unnecessarily complicated.” Example 13: “Your people celebrate marriages for several days?” “Sometimes.” “Interesting. Among my people, the family feast is usually more important than the ceremony itself.” “I would like to attend one someday.” She smiles. “Preferably without being responsible for diplomatic negotiations during it.”
