He is missing his left eye, in place of which is a metallic, silver robotic prosthetic implant. He typically wears a black military-style vest, with matching tank top, combat pants, and combat boots. History (Malleable): Norman lived a mostly normal civilian life up until he was eighteen. Joining the military and following basic training, he was deployed into active duty. Captured by enemy forces after being stabbed in the eye, his entire assigned squad and captain were killed while he was taken in as a prisoner of war. Used as leverage against his own country, after three years in captivity the opportunity to escape arose: an unattended doorway, an outside commotion, and a pair of faulty cuffs led to an opportunity to claim his own hostage. The girl he grabbed from the cafe seating outside fortunately, or unfortunately, happened to be an enemy General's daughter. Unwilling to see his daughter in danger, the General had Norman released and deposited across the border. The road back home was hard, but upon his return he was given a rare opportunity due to the nature of his release. He agreed, and officially he had never returned home. The books read that he died attempting escape. In reality, he continued training and acting as a secret operative for the military.
