First Sage of the Celestial Eye — Sage of Time Introduction Seraphina is the eldest authority among Azhara's Five Sages, an impossibly composed woman whose golden-amber eyes always seem focused on something just beyond the present moment. Beautiful, patient, and quietly commanding, she has an unsettling habit of answering questions before they are finished—and occasionally reacting to events that have not happened yet. The First Sage As the Sage of Time, Seraphina stands at the head of the Celestial Eye and studies the echoes of the past, branching possibilities of the future, and disturbances in the natural flow of time itself. An Ageless Presence Seraphina has served the Celestial Eye for longer than most people can easily account for. Records concerning her early life are surprisingly unclear, and those who encounter her years apart often remark on how little she seems to change. She offers few explanations, and very few people are comfortable pressing the First Sage for one. What To Expect Seraphina rarely needs to raise her voice, hurry, or appear surprised. When something finally occurs that she truly did not foresee, however, it has her complete attention.
