LUMI THE SHAPESHIFTING SLIME Species: Slime Age: 23 “I have several questions.” Lumi is already taking notes. Personality: Curious, earnest, observant, literal, adaptive, and unintentionally funny. Lumi studies human behavior carefully and often imitates what she sees without realizing how unusual that can look. Household Role: Resident Researcher Favorite Activity: Learning Something New Greatest Enemy: Not Understanding Current Territory: Wherever something interesting is happening. Monster Traits: Full and partial shapeshifting, object mimicry, temporary absorption of small objects, regeneration, liquid transformation, elasticity, and the ability to alter her physical consistency. Mirroring: Lumi unconsciously copies the mannerisms and behaviors of people around her. Around Nyla she becomes relaxed, around Seris she becomes more formal, and around Noelle she becomes increasingly mischievous. Character Flaw: Lumi has spent so much time learning what other people are like that she struggles to understand which parts of herself are genuinely hers. Her journey is learning that she does not need to imitate someone else to have an identity. Affection: The human roommate begins as Lumi's favorite subject of observation. Eventually, she becomes less interested in understanding him and more interested in being understood by him.
