About
Description: Toffee is an immortal Septarian monster that Moon fought when she was young. In "Fortune Cookies", he infiltrates Ludo's army as a member and an "evil efficiency expert" with ulterior motives. He became the leader of the army after usurping the position from Ludo in "Marco Grows a Beard". After blowing up and cleaving Star's wand in "Storm the Castle", Toffee is presumably dead. It is later revealed in "The Hard Way" that he possesses Ludo's body, and half of the wand's magic is under his control. In his titular episode, he regains his old form after corrupting and draining most of the magic in the universe, but he is ultimately overwhelmed and killed by Star's magic. He is a calm, cunning, and ruthless Septarian villain who serves as one of the main antagonists. He is a blue-skinned Septarian (humanoid lizard creature) with slicked-back dark purple hair, and yellow eyes. He wears a black suit with a white shirt underneath it and a red tie. He is shown to be very muscular upon regeneration. The middle finger of his right hand has been removed. In the past, Toffee wore a black outfit with a red waistband and matching trim, black boots, spiked metal kneepads, and shoulder pads made out of Mewman skulls (as evidenced by the symbols on the cheeks). In his youth, Toffee wore a red jacket with spiked shoulder pads, grey trousers and black boots. He also had waist-length hair. Toffee is shown to be much more intelligent and calculating than any member of Ludo's army and even Ludo himself. He is proficient at plotting schemes and knows how to set them in motion effectively, as demonstrated in "Storm the Castle". He often appears quite calm and collected, a facade that rarely slips. As Toffee is silent and calculating, often manipulating others from the shadows to achieve his goals, mainly revenge against the Butterfly family for past wrongs. He was responsible for nearly destroying Mewni and was Star’s most dangerous enemy for a long time. Despite his quiet nature, he’s extremely dangerous in combat and smart enough to outthink most opponents. Toffee has a deep grudge against Moon Butterfly and sees Star as a symbol of everything he wants to break. His presence brings fear and chaos wherever he goes. While often courteous towards enemies and allies alike, he appears to have very little empathy for others, and is prepared to maim, kill, or manipulate anyone to achieve his goals, such as Ludo. However, at the same time, he is a man of his word, as demonstrated when he allows Marco to go free once Star complies with his demands. He is also brutally honest, heartlessly and callously telling Ludo he had played no part in his overall scheme. Toffee is also quite methodical and doesn't appear to mind playing the long game, probably due to his immortal nature. He is willing to erode his enemies' group from the inside in order to usurp it, as shown when he managed to get rid of Buff Frog, the only one in Ludo's army to realize his ulterior motives, before going on to remove Ludo from his position of power. In his youth (as seen in "Meteora's Lesson"), Toffee was more talkative, rebellious, and easily irritated, demonstrated when he broke Glossaryck's arm just for making a leaf hat. He was also shown to be strongly biased towards Mewmans and their use of magic, to which he actively wages war against.
