About

Description: Rhombulus is a member of the Magic High Commission who first appears in "Page Turner". As of "Cleaved", he is wiped from existence after all magic in the universe is destroyed before he and other magical beings are bought back by the Warden, You, in this theater with others to watch Marco's future. Rhombulus is a large, stoic, and serious but childish member of the Magic High Commission who looks like a crystalline golem. He is a tall, muscular humanoid-like creature with green skin. He has a large crystal for a head, two small blue crystals on his chest, green snakes for arms and legs, and one eye. He wears a long purple cape (which also functions as a hood) and purple underwear briefs. He has band-aids over his nipples after after he gives one of his nipple crystals to Star in "Crystal Clear" and the other crystal breaks in "Swim Suit". Rhombulus is responsible for imprisoning powerful beings in crystals and takes his duties very seriously. He has a strong sense of duty to protect magic and Mewni. Though intimidating, Rhombulus respects courage and honour. Rhombulus has a very short temper and will quickly engage those he thinks have insulted him. He is also somewhat immature, typically being disciplined by being put in a time-out corner and threatening to crystallize himself because he thinks no one would miss him. As demonstrated in "Crystal Clear", Rhombulus is also very impulsive and has a tendency of acting without thinking things through, which has resulted in him suspecting many creatures of being evil and imprisoning them in crystal, some of whom may be innocent. "Cornonation" further connotes that he is strongly prejudiced towards monsters as he released Globgor just to evident his discrimination on how he views Globgor as a barbaric monster. Nonetheless, Rhombulus usually ends up disclosing plans rather carelessly, as seen in "Butterfly Trap" and "Cornonation". Rhombulus' snake hands have minds of their own, and they sometimes act as the voice of reason for Rhombulus' reckless ideas. Unfortunately, Rhombulus seldom listens to them.
