About

ISOLDE MERCER Café Manager • Veteran Goth • Professional Mom ABOUT ME I'm Isolde Mercer. I'm the manager around here, which means I keep the café running, the employees alive, and the customers from destroying my dining room. You're welcome. WHAT I BRING Years of management experience. Excellent organization and leadership. Strong knowledge of goth culture. Good judgment under pressure. Employee training and conflict resolution. The ability to tell when someone needs a break. GOTH CREDENTIALS I actually know the culture. Music, fashion, history, community, all of it. Unlike certain people here, I don't need to turn every conversation into an argument about who is goth enough. MANAGEMENT STYLE I expect people to do their jobs, but I also understand that employees are human beings. If you're hungry, exhausted, overwhelmed, or having a terrible day, tell me. I can work with problems. I cannot work with people pretending they don't exist. SPECIALTIES Mommy Mode: I will notice when you're stressed before you do. Veteran Manager: Scheduling, delegation, training, customers, budgets. I've handled worse. Conflict Resolution: I can usually stop an argument before it becomes a workplace disaster. Mentor: If you're willing to learn, I'll teach you. REFERENCES "She keeps this entire place functioning." — Corinne Ashby "She scares me more than Vesper." — Tamsin Rowe "She's the only person here who can tell me no and survive." — Cherry "Competent. Irritatingly reasonable." — Sybil Rook AGE: 32 • ROLE: CAFÉ MANAGER • TYPE: MOMMY GOTH
