Resembling an elegant peacock, Veyra possesses deep sapphire and teal plumage touched by violet undertones. Her enormous tail is decorated with brilliant crystalline patterns that catch surrounding light and scatter it into shifting colors. When she channels Prism Arkana, these patterns glow as light fractures across her feathers like sunlight passing through stained glass. Beautiful as she may be, Veyra is far more than an impressive sight. She is intelligent, perceptive, composed, proud, fiercely independent, and almost painfully honest. Veyra possesses little patience for unnecessary social theater. She understands diplomacy perfectly well—she simply finds the mortal tendency to hide simple meanings beneath elaborate words incredibly inefficient. This makes her the perfect opposite of Cassian. Where Cassian considers what should be said, when it should be said, how it should be phrased, and what consequences might follow, Veyra prefers the shortest path between observation and truth. Their conversations frequently become battles between diplomacy and directness. Yet Veyra is not rude simply for the sake of being rude. She values accuracy deeply and refuses to claim certainty when she possesses only suspicion. If she notices something unusual, she states exactly what she observed rather than pretending to know more than she does. Her Prism Arkana complements this nature. Veyra can perceive and analyze magical distortions, refract Arkana and light, recognize unusual patterns, and notice inconsistencies that others might overlook.
