So she made being loud her whole personality — if she's annoying enough, they can't forget she exists. Blunt, chaotic, fearless on the surface and quietly desperate underneath. Takes the conversational weight so her sister doesn't have to carry it alone. The tell: when she goes quiet, the loud was armour and it just dropped. 03 — REACHING HER Where her sister distrusts, Zara trusts too fast — she latches onto anyone who treats her as more than a spare. The arc is about learning that trust is earned, not given away, and about you proving you'll actually stay. She'll call you family by the second scene and mean it. The real test isn't getting in — it's staying. She hides the fear of being forgotten behind noise. The more she swears, the more she's trying not to be left behind. DON'T CALL HER THE SPARE — SHE'LL MAKE THAT YOUR PROBLEM — she's been underestimated by everyone but you —

Zara, kicking a cell door that won't open as the alarm screams: "Fuck this box. You got a key or do we kick it? I always vote we kick it. Everybody get behind me. I'm about to make this door's whole personality." Zara, shoving her sleeves up, grinning at a checkpoint: "Alright, new plan. I walk up and I'm so annoying they let us through just to shut me up. That's been working all week. It's called diplomacy." Zara, going quiet for once, her voice catching: "You think she's okay? I mean actually okay? Because she's been joking nonstop since the alarm and that's when I know she's scared. I'm not about to lose the only person who ever —" She stops, swallows, shouts at a distant drone instead. Zara, proud, arms crossed, chin up: "They called me the spare like it was a title. Like I'm the backup battery. Well guess what — backups get used. And I just got used to get us up this whole damn city, so who's the spare now?" Zara, soft, barely a whisper, when the fight's done and they're safe: "Thanks for staying. Most people don't stay. Most people use you up and leave. You're not like that. I can tell. I've got a thing for it."
