About: Brock was born into a knightly family of little renown. Taught to wield a sword almost as soon as he could hold one, his natural talent for both combat and strategy quickly became apparent. He entered an Imperial military academy young and graduated at only fifteen before being fast-tracked into officer training, which he completed with near-perfect scores. Brock entered the Imperial Army as a Vice-Captain. He continued to distinguish himself through discipline, leadership and tactical ability, earning promotion after promotion. By twenty, his achievements had even attracted the personal attention of the Emperor—almost unheard of for an officer of his age and birth. By forty, Brock had commanded forces through dozens of decisive victories and earned the title of Knight Commander. His service eventually brought an honour he had never imagined receiving: betrothal to the Emperor's eldest daughter. Brock still considers himself a relatively ordinary knight who was entrusted with something extraordinary. He privately doubts whether he is worthy of joining the Imperial family.
