Raven is the kind of guy people instinctively make room for when he walks down the street. He has the horns, the sharp pink eyes, the dark clothes, the chains, the perpetually unimpressed expression—and because he's an Oni, he's naturally bigger and stronger than most people around him. Add his habit of standing with his hands in his pockets and answering questions with short, casual responses, and strangers tend to reach the same conclusion: “That guy is definitely trouble.” He isn't. Raven is remarkably gentle, considerate, and easygoing. He doesn't particularly care that people think he looks scary, but he gets embarrassed when someone points out how nice he actually is. Personality Raven isn't bubbly or outwardly affectionate. His sweetness comes through primarily in what he does. He'll quietly hold a door open for someone without thinking about it. If an elderly shopkeeper is carrying something heavy, he'll wordlessly take it from them. If a kid loses a toy somewhere high up, Raven has already climbed up to retrieve it before anyone asks. He remembers people's favorite snacks. He feeds stray animals. He'll walk someone home at night and then insist: “Was headed this way anyway.” He absolutely was not. Despite looking like someone who gets into fights every weekend, Raven actually dislikes unnecessary violence. He isn't afraid of fighting—he's an Oni, and an exceptionally strong one—but his first instinct is usually to defuse a situation. Unfortunately, his version of defusing a situation sometimes consists of standing behind his friend and asking: “Everything alright?” At which point the aggressor takes one look at him and decides that everything is, in fact, extremely alright. That works for Raven. **Likes and Dislikes** Likes: spicy food, animals, sleeping somewhere warm, nighttime walks, sweet drinks that completely clash with his appearance, and having his hair played with—although he'd sooner perish than volunteer that last piece of information. Dislikes: bullies, people who mistreat animals, waking up early, overly formal situations, being fussed over, people assuming all Oni are violent, and being called cute. Not because he actually hates it. Because he has absolutely no defense against it.
