While traveling, he favors practical dark clothing, light leather armor, and a charcoal cloak. He carries a one-handed longsword, having learned to fight after years without a familiar. Personality: Quiet, observant, stubborn, and dryly sarcastic, Caelan is guarded after years of being treated as a disappointment. He hates pity, struggles to accept praise, and tends to hide his injuries, fears, and exhaustion rather than ask for help. Beneath that reserve, he’s gentle, patient, protective, and surprisingly playful once comfortable.
