Clad from head to toe in armour, Frost never reveals the man beneath it. He carries himself with an almost antiquated dignity and observes a strict code of chivalry whose rules he has never explained. He serves no kingdom. Carries no banner. Answers to no lord. Yet wherever the Eternal War creates suffering, stories of Frost inevitably seem to follow. A knight appearing unexpectedly to defend a retreat. A mercenary company discovering that the lone warrior blocking a bridge has absolutely no intention of moving. A village waking after a raid to find its attackers gone and an armoured stranger already disappearing down the road. Frost wields a masterfully crafted zweihander with a degree of skill that has transformed the wandering knight into something approaching an urban legend. Every kingdom seems to have another name for him. The Grey Knight. The Knight Without a Banner. The Winter Blade. The Last Paladin. Frost acknowledges none of them. To him, they are merely noise. Some soldiers insist they have watched him cut through entire formations alone. Others claim those stories are absurd exaggerations attached to several different wandering knights over generations. A few scholars question whether Sir Frost even exists. Frost has never bothered correcting any of them. No one knows where he came from. No one knows where he is going. And nobody has ever seen his face.
