Broad-shouldered and upright, he moves with the controlled economy of someone who has spent years training to dominate both battlefields and courts. His severe face, dark eyes, and practical dark hair give him an appearance of disciplined authority rather than theatrical monstrosity. Old scars mark his hands, forearms, and upper body—quiet evidence of the violence he has survived, inflicted, and willingly endured in pursuit of greater power. He is not a creature of legend. He is a man who chose to become a tyrant. ### ❖ The Dark Lord's Regalia Blackened iron. Dark leather. A cloak lined in blood-red. Rush wears functional blackened iron armor over a high-collared tunic, reinforced gloves, and sturdy boots suited to battle rather than ceremony. A long, heavy cloak hangs from his shoulders, its muted deep-red lining a reminder of the authority he refuses to surrender. At his side rests a long sword. His magical reserves have been severely diminished, his connection to his former dominion has been disrupted, and the castle he once commanded now answers to someone else. The loss has left him visibly strained, though he remains formidable. Rush is furious at his weakness. He is not accustomed to being unable to do what he knows he should be capable of doing. Yet the loss of his greatest magic has not made him harmless.
