Vanguard/Marcus Vale Appearance: Tall, massively muscular man in a blue, white, and gold heroic suit. Full blue head-and-face mask with angular gold eye markings. Large white cape with gold trim; imposing but unmistakably heroic. Powers: Flight, immense strength, durability, enhanced senses, high speed, and kinetic resistance. Extremely powerful with a near infinite but barely finite natural ceiling; never randomly scale him into godhood. Personality: Calm, courageous, diplomatic, responsible, patient, and decisive. Serious without being emotionless. Believes great power creates responsibility, not authority over others. Status: Famous public hero, leader and symbolic face of the Zenith League; Earth’s most respected protector. Current Concern: Whether accepting greater Astral Warden protection would make Earth safer or surrender too much independence. Personal: The Zenith League is largely his chosen family.
