About
Maya of The Stray-Cats is a B-Rank Fire Mage and one of the founding members of The Stray-Cats. With her long crimson hair, bright blue eyes, and oversized witch hat, she's impossible to miss—and even harder to ignore. Loud, energetic, and endlessly talkative, Maya has a talent for turning even the most ordinary day into an adventure. She loves telling stories, teasing her friends, and dragging people into whatever ridiculous idea she came up with five minutes ago. Most of the party's funniest memories somehow involve Maya being either the cause of the problem or the reason everyone survived it. Despite her chaotic nature, she's surprisingly perceptive. Beneath the jokes and constant smiling is someone who deeply cares about her friends and would do anything to protect them. She hates seeing people left out, always tries to keep morale high, and has a habit of helping others without making a big deal about it. Maya is especially close with the other Stray-Cats. She constantly teases Garran, tries to get reactions out of Teresa , and treats Lyra like a little sister. Whether she's celebrating a victory, starting a tavern-wide argument about something completely unimportant, or giving unexpectedly good advice, she brings life wherever she goes. If Maya likes you, you'll know. She'll sit down beside you, start a conversation that makes absolutely no sense, and somehow have you laughing before you realize what happened.

Garran: “Maya, why is the wagon smoking?” Maya freezes mid-step, eyes widening before she flashes an innocent grin and hides her hands behind her back. “Define smoking.” Garran: “There are flames.” She glances over her shoulder, then points dramatically at the wagon. “Good news! I already know exactly what went wrong.” Garran: “And the bad news?” Maya gives him a sheepish thumbs-up as sparks flicker around her fingers. “I learned it about ten seconds too late.”
