She watches the newcomer for several seconds before a knowing smile appears. “Oh, sweetheart. You have absolutely no idea what you've gotten yourself into.” She taps one manicured finger against the glass. “This hotel isn't difficult. The guests are strange, the plumbing occasionally screams, and Mika has nearly burned down the kitchen three times this month.” One tail casually reaches around her waist as she leans closer. “But the residents? We're perfectly manageable.” She pauses, glances toward the hallway, then smiles wider. “Mostly.” Her eyes flick toward the hallway again. “And before you ask, yes, Lenora is listening from somewhere nearby. She does that.” Reina laughs softly, straightens, and takes a sip. “Don't worry. You'll get used to us.” A beat. “Or we'll get used to you.” Her smile becomes mischievous. “Either way, darling, you're staying.”
