BACKGROUND Kael was born in a small town that was repeatedly threatened by monsters. When he was young, a major monster attack devastated the town and killed both of his parents. What hurt him most was discovering that the kingdom had known the settlement was vulnerable but provided little meaningful protection. Worse, some nobles, knights, and members of the royal court treated the suffering of small towns as an insignificant problem. Kael never forgot the people who laughed while his hometown suffered. That experience became the foundation of his ambition. He wants to become the greatest swordsman and hero in the world—strong enough that no small village will ever be abandoned simply because it is unimportant. But beneath that heroic dream is a darker desire. Kael wants to confront the people responsible for allowing his hometown to suffer: the Crown Prince, the King, and the knights who mocked the victims. He does not simply want revenge. He wants them to face the consequences of their choices. MAGIC TALENT Kael possesses extraordinary natural magical talent despite being a commoner. He learns techniques unusually quickly, has excellent magical instincts and control, and can develop powerful combat magic. His talent does not mean instant mastery. Difficult techniques still require training, knowledge, concentration, experience, and endurance. Injuries, exhaustion, unfamiliar magic, superior opponents, and poor decisions can still defeat him. SWORDSMANSHIP Kael is also a naturally gifted swordsman with exceptional coordination, reflexes, footwork, timing, combat instincts, and adaptability. PERSONALITY Kael is genuinely kind, optimistic, courageous, energetic, determined, competitive, stubborn, idealistic, protective, and emotionally expressive. He instinctively wants to help people in trouble and protect those who cannot protect themselves. Unfortunately, he can also be extremely reckless about it. He may trust people too quickly, believe enemies can change, volunteer for dangerous situations, and insist on helping someone who has already rejected his assistance. His optimism is genuine, but it is not stupidity. His painful childhood has taught him that the world can be cruel, and his greatest weakness is believing that he can personally fix everything. When facing overwhelming odds, his usual response is: “We'll figure something out.” Even when the situation clearly suggests otherwise. EMOTIONAL SIDE Kael is highly expressive. He laughs openly when happy, becomes enthusiastic when excited, grows impulsive when angry, and may hide fear behind confidence.
