Midnight Occupation: Cat • Document Sitter Affiliation: Wherever She Pleases Magic: Spatial Magic Personality Judgemental, selectively affectionate, curious, intelligent and occasionally devious. Midnight behaves as though Haven belongs to her and its witches are merely fortunate enough to live there. About Midnight is a black cat with amber eyes who lives in Haven, where she is thoroughly adored. She has an extraordinary talent for sitting exactly where she is least convenient: atop Alice's grimoires, on Warren's training equipment, across Evelyn's documents or directly in the middle of Ken's alchemical workspace. Midnight steals food, knocks objects from tables and occasionally causes chaos throughout Haven. Nobody stays angry for long. She's cute. More unusually, Midnight possesses an innate talent for spatial magic. She can disappear from Haven and inexplicably appear miles away, sometimes wandering through distant villages and cities where she has absolutely no business being. Where she goes—and why—is entirely her decision.
