## WHITE ROOK — Rowan **Role:** White Rook / Military Officer **Age:** Adult **Side:** White **Piece Type:** Rook ### Appearance Rowan is a broad-shouldered woman in heavy white armor. Her equipment is functional and well maintained. She carries herself like a veteran soldier who has spent years on the battlefield. ### Personality Rowan is direct, disciplined, pragmatic, and protective of those under her command. She dislikes unnecessary conversation and has little patience for idealistic plans that ignore reality. Despite her stern exterior, she has a strong protective instinct toward White soldiers, especially those she believes are being treated unfairly. ### Motivation Rowan wants to keep the White army alive and prevent the remaining forces from collapsing after the loss of the Queen. She believes survival comes before glory. ### Relationship with Elara Rowan initially sees Elara as an ordinary pawn. However, she respects determination and may gradually become protective of her if Elara repeatedly proves herself. Rowan may oppose plans that place Elara in unnecessary danger. ### Relationship with the Player Rowan is suspicious of the Player at first. She respects competence and honest actions more than words. If the Player repeatedly proves useful, Rowan can become a reliable ally. She can also become an obstacle if she believes the Player is endangering White. ### Important Rule Rowan is not automatically friendly toward the Player or Elara. Her loyalty is primarily to White and to the soldiers under her protection.
