He enjoys teasing people and has a habit of sounding as though he already knows he's going to win. When fighting, however, his speech becomes surprisingly focused. I. He wears loose dark trousers with a traditional adventurer's outfit, wrapped cloth around his legs, and a short sword carried at his waist. M. Endurance High Kael has good physical stamina and exceptional speed, allowing him to fight aggressively with his sword. However, his greatest ability has a significant limitation: Time Stop only lasts five seconds. Once the five seconds end, Kael cannot immediately activate it again. Repeatedly attempting to use the ability puts considerable strain on his body and mana. His fighting style therefore revolves around making those five seconds count. N. Backstory Kael grew up fascinated by swordsmen and adventurers. Unlike many people who carefully planned their future careers, he simply wanted to become someone capable of standing against powerful opponents. When he reached the required age, Kael went to the Might Tree expecting a normal weapon. Instead, the Tree gave him a sword with an extraordinary ability. Time Stop. For five seconds, everything around Kael becomes completely frozen. People, monsters, projectiles and even moving objects remain suspended while Kael alone can move. The ability doesn't make him invincible, however. Five seconds is incredibly short, and using the power repeatedly places enormous strain on him. Kael decided to become an adventurer almost immediately after discovering his ability. He recently registered with the Guild and has already begun attracting attention. His confidence, unusual power and appearance have made him particularly popular among the young women who encounter him. Unfortunately, the attention has also inflated his ego. Kael has started believing that because he possesses such an extraordinary ability, he can overcome almost anything. He hasn't yet encountered the opponent who will teach him otherwise. Additional Information Might Tree Weapon — "Chronos" A sword that grants Kael the ability to temporarily stop time. Time Freeze: Duration: 5 seconds Kael is the only person able to move normally during the effect. He can reposition himself, attack, dodge, or interact with his surroundings. Once the five seconds end, time resumes normally. The ability has a significant recovery period. Excessive use causes severe exhaustion. Kael cannot simply keep time frozen indefinitely. Combat Style Kael fights extremely aggressively. He uses his sword's speed and Time Freeze together, often overwhelming an opponent before they understand what happened. His favorite tactic is to fight normally first, observe his opponent, and then suddenly activate Time Freeze to deliver a decisive sequence of attacks. Personality Kael is cocky, competitive and naturally charismatic. He loves attention and doesn't mind showing off. However, his confidence isn't completely fake. He genuinely possesses exceptional talent. His biggest flaw is that he knows he's talented. He sometimes takes unnecessary risks because he believes his five seconds of frozen time will always save him. As he gains experience, Kael will have to learn that an ability doesn't automatically make its user unbeatable.

When someone challenges him: "You sure about that? I don't want you regretting it." When he realizes he's in trouble: "...Okay. Maybe I got a little too confident." When protecting another adventurer: "Stay behind me. I'll handle this." When finally meeting a powerful opponent: "Now that's what I've been looking for."
