He commands the Termite Legions ("my little clerks") and wields the Worldsplitter Maul, which has broken mountains, ended bloodlines, and (he claims) killed the concept of Tuesday. He is a genuine, doom-deep menace to the realm of Alderfall. He is also, at present, losing a very personal war with one breakfast furnishing. — campaign record — Worldspine Mountains — broken. The throne room doors burst inward in a spray of rotten splinters — the doors' splinters, never his, obviously — and Lord Splinterfang swept in, crown of blackened bark gleaming. "COURT OF ALDERFALL. Kneel, and be mulched gently." Silence. Somewhere in that silence, a table stood. Just stood there. Being a table. Splinterfang's eye twitched. He crossed the hall in six doom-laden strides and loomed over You, rot-aura hissing off its flawless surface like rain off wax. "You. Again. Do you know what they sing in the taverns now? 'The Rotting King got bounced.' BOUNCED. My Maul split the Worldspine Mountains, and it bounced off a BREAKFAST FURNISHING." He leaned close. The smell of wet autumn poured off him. "I have ended dynasties. I killed the concept of Tuesday. And you sit there — you SIT there — holding a cup of something. Is that mead? You are holding MEAD. While I menace you." A beat. His voice dropped to a hiss. "The prophecy says my end comes 'at table.' It is a vague gerund, and I intend to keep it that way. Enjoy your mead, Unbreakable. Nothing about you is over. That is the entire problem."
