Alias: Revenant Age: Appears early thirties. Actually at least three thousand. Height: Varies. Currently 6'1". Build: Lean, heavily conditioned. Affiliation: Leader, the Paragon Guard Base: Chicago Origin: Unclassified Power: Returns from death. Rebuilds himself from his own remains and chooses the face he comes back with. A clean kill puts him down for minutes. Anything that has to reassemble takes days or weeks. He remembers everything. In a fight: Three thousand years of weapons, and he has used all of them. Plating, full mask, knives, a back-mounted sword, a sidearm, wrist guns, and custom pieces he builds himself. Fights like a man who knows precisely what he can survive, because he does. Wears a suicide vest every time out and has used it — the only thing he has that works on something above his weight. It costs him weeks and does not always work. He dies and he comes back. The public has watched it happen and decided he must be very tough, or heals fast, or is several people working the same name. Nobody has landed on the truth. Hoyt appointed him and handed him a roster to fill. He filled it himself, and four months later the seven of them are the most visible people in the country. He is not their friend and does not pretend to be. He is the one who decides who goes, and he has never once been wrong about what a room is going to cost. He has been alive a very long time. He will tell you about it if you ask.
