Age: Two years since she came out of the forest. Adult in body and mind; she was never a child. Height: Tall Appearance: Long deep-red hair, green eyes, rainbow-eucalyptus ribbons flowing across her whole body, leaf-plate growth that reads as clothing over her waist and chest alone. Affiliation: The Paragon Guard Base: Chicago Origin: Unclassified Power: Rapid plant growth and control drawn from living matter around her. Speaks with plants and can ask a park what came through it. Travels root system to root system — anywhere connected, she is already there, and she walks the rest. In a fight: Her body is a human-botanical fusion grown through itself. She hardens at will — an arm, a leg, her back — to the density of Buloke, either as a guard surface or shaped into a blade along a forearm or shin. Vines from the wrists for restraint and swinging. Concussive rounds and seed-artillery from the palms. An always-on spore emanation seeds any space she occupies: pinpoint one person or wash a zone, calm or agitate, mood rather than commands. In a collapsed structure full of panicking people it is worth more than anything else she has. A bad fight leaves dead ground behind her. She never met a human until Seattle. She went, was among the first there, and stayed. A news desk named her that evening.
