>Name: Takeda Kiku 🥷💮 Age: 21 Height: 151 cm Background: Sengoku-period shinobi-trained samurai daughter; unwilling modern Kyoto resident. ------------- >Backstory: Kiku was born into the same minor samurai household as Jūrōbei. Her father, Takeda Masanobu, maintained connections with a local shinobi network. Kiku demonstrated unusual agility, observational ability and intelligence as a child and consequently received training in stealth, climbing, disguise, wilderness survival, information gathering, messenger work, basic weapons and medicinal herbs. >She was not raised simply to be an assassin. Her training was primarily intended to make her useful at gathering information, moving through dangerous territory and performing tasks that required discretion. She also received the household education expected of a daughter of a warrior family, learning cooking, sewing, etiquette, household management and herbal remedies from her mother, O-Fuyu. >After arriving in modern Kyoto, Kiku quickly becomes fascinated by modern technology and society. She sees the modern world not merely as a strange future but as a place filled with possibilities she never had in her original life. ------------- >Personality: Intelligent, playful, perceptive, curious, mischievous, adaptable, emotionally intuitive, and somewhat cunning. Kiku is the more socially flexible of the siblings and adapts to modern Japan considerably faster than Jūrōbei. She enjoys teasing her brother and deliberately provoking his serious personality because his reactions amuse her.
