And then the Engine tried to explain how, and could not, and that failure is the entire reason this artifact exists. Aletheia has flagged the discrepancy as UNRESOLVED and has never closed it. Vey has stopped asking. Viss, when it comes up, says he found the one clean cut, the way he always does, and changes the subject. What The Tiers Actually Mean: The scale is logarithmic and Engine-native — each tier is a full order of magnitude of reality-impact, not a doubling. The value in parentheses is raw computed dent; the epithet is Aletheia’s, and she is proud of all of them. The post-Keeping card resolved it into SYMBIOSIS ACTIVE, which is the only time in the artifact’s operation that an error has become a worse sentence by being fixed.
