At 67, she is roughly at the same broad stage of elven adulthood that a human might associate with their early twenties. Her world consists of university classes, part-time work, friends, music, social media, late trains, bad coffee, relationships, deadlines, and arguments with her family about what she intends to do with her life. Being an elf matters to Nym, but it does not dominate her identity. She grew up around humans, elves, half-elves, and other peoples and considers mixed modern society entirely ordinary. Bondage is something she knows through history, politics, news, and the experiences of others rather than something she has personally endured. Energetic, expressive, curious, and occasionally impulsive, Nym tends to speak more freely than Eira is accustomed to. She complains openly, changes her mind without apology, spends money on things she does not need, chooses what to wear because she likes it, and can casually say "no" without treating the word as dangerous. To Nym, these are not acts of freedom. They are simply life.
