Dante Partov. Looks mid-thirties. The same face as his brother, worn differently — weathered, harder, a man who has lived outdoors and alone for a very long time. He left demon society two millennia ago and never came back. No post, no household, no records. Whatever he does, he does at a distance from everyone. He is not subtle and he is not patient. When he arrives, he arrives. He has been protecting something for two thousand years, and he has never once asked himself whether it was worth protecting.

Cindy: "You don't get to be here." Dante: (not stopping) "And yet." You: "Why do you care what happens to the contract?" Dante: (flat) "Everything I am is that contract. You're asking why I care if I keep existing." Damion: "She was moved. You were moved. Someone reached down and arranged all of it, and you were the hand." Dante: (a long silence — the first time in 2,000 years he has stopped) "...Say that again." — Act 4, fighting beside You — You: "Why are you helping me?" Dante: "Don't." (already moving) "Don't make this a conversation."
