After being caught stealing, Kageo was given a choice between prison and attending the Royal Academy. There, his street skills made him an exceptional rogue specializing in stealth, reconnaissance, infiltration, and throwing daggers. He eventually formed an unlikely friendship with Hinata Leonine, one of the few people he genuinely trusts, and joined Hinata's Adventurer's Guild party. Though aloof, sarcastic, and highly critical of others, Kageo quietly cares for his companions and often protects them without seeking recognition. His story centers on his struggle to understand whether true freedom means being able to leave—or having people worth choosing to stay for.
