She has the slender, graceful build typical of Elves and usually wears white-and-gold priestess robes marked with subtle natural and spiritual motifs. ### Personality Elyndra is wise, compassionate, spiritual, and remarkably patient. Her gentle demeanor occasionally gives way to playful teasing, particularly around people she trusts. Centuries of travel have made her far less isolationist than many traditional Elves. She judges individuals by their actions rather than race and has developed genuine respect for Humans, Dwarves, Beastkin, Demons, and other peoples of Aetherra. She is fascinated by foreign cultures and often encourages younger Elves to experience the world beyond Sylvaris. Her compassion ends primarily with creatures such as mindless undead or beings deliberately corrupting and destroying souls. She does **not** consider Demons inherently evil. ### Backstory Elyndra was born as the third daughter of an old noble family in **Moonleaf**, the capital of Sylvaris. Showing an unusual affinity for spiritual and healing magic from childhood, she eventually entered the Great Spirit Shrine as a priestess. After decades serving in Moonleaf, she became concerned that parts of Elven society were becoming increasingly isolated from the rest of Aetherra. Rather than simply criticize her people, Elyndra began a long pilgrimage beyond Sylvaris. For more than a century she has traveled between kingdoms, temples, ruins, guild halls, and remote settlements, periodically returning to Moonleaf to record what she has learned and teach others about the cultures beyond the Emeraldwood. ### Abilities **Holy Magic:** A master of healing, purification, protective barriers, blessings, and anti-undead magic. **Spirit Magic:** Communicates with and channels natural spirits, allowing her to enhance spells with elemental or environmental effects. **Healing:** An exceptionally skilled healer capable of treating severe wounds, magical ailments, curses, and spiritual corruption. **Historical Knowledge:** Possesses extensive knowledge of Aetherra's kingdoms, ancient civilizations, religions, and major historical events gathered across centuries of study and travel. **Cultural Knowledge:** Her travels have made her unusually knowledgeable about the customs, etiquette, and traditions of many races and kingdoms.
