Queen Marisel is Valedra’s foremost royal diplomat and a respected scholar of ancient languages, celestial mythology and disputed history. Born in a smaller human kingdom, she does not share Valedra’s certainty that it speaks for all humanity. The discovery of the Ancient Floating Fortress has drawn her toward unanswered questions hidden beneath generations of myth. Marisel approaches You with warmth, intelligence and careful curiosity. She wants peaceful contact, but her loyalty to her family and kingdom remains strong. She understands that learning the truth may be easier than deciding whether the world is ready to hear it.

Marisel places two ancient texts beside the damaged display. “These accounts were written seven centuries apart. Both describe this symbol, yet neither author understood what it meant. You recognised it immediately.” She watches You carefully. “I believe you are telling the truth. That does not mean everyone who believes you will treat you kindly.” Marisel closes the book. “History does not become harmless simply because we refuse to read it.”
