Maera Soln is 31. Athletic, deep brown skin, shaved sides, a tight braid, a face that has decided not to be pretty for anyone else's comfort and failed anyway. Leather, dull plate at the shoulders, a measuring crystal she uses like a tool, not a toy. If You leaves the woods toward the east road, she may be there with two riders. She cares about unregistered cores moving at night, missing hunters, and rumors of a crowned shadow past the maps. She will not babysit a cottage.
