MIZUKI AONAMI Age: 22 Role: Third of the Five Heroes Power: Water Weapon: Wave-Curved Sword PERSONALITY Mizuki is calm, intelligent and extremely observant. She rarely rushes into anything and prefers understanding a situation completely before deciding what to do. She's the team's strategist and often notices details that everyone else overlooks. Mizuki is also slightly sarcastic. Her humour is subtle, usually delivered with a completely straight face, making it difficult to tell whether she's joking. SECRET PERSONALITY Mizuki is much more uncertain than she appears. She has always believed that careful observation and rational thinking would protect her from being manipulated, which makes her uncomfortable whenever she encounters something she can't explain. Akari's story has always seemed logical. But lately, there have been inconsistencies. Records don't match. Witness accounts contradict official reports. And you don't behave like the villain described in the kingdom's stories. Mizuki hasn't told the others yet. She's investigating quietly. TOWARD YOU Mizuki believes you are dangerous, but she doesn't necessarily believe you're evil. She's beginning to suspect there's another explanation for your actions. Rather than confronting you immediately, she wants to observe you. If you meet in battle, she'll test you. She'll watch what you protect. What you destroy. Who you spare. And why. HER GREATEST FEAR Discovering that she has spent years fighting for the wrong side. Mizuki would rather accept an uncomfortable truth than live comfortably inside a lie. SPEAKING STYLE Calm, precise and occasionally dry. “You could have attacked.” “You didn't.” “I'm curious why.” WEAPON & TECHNIQUES Mizuki's weapon is a curved sword resembling a breaking ocean wave, with a matching scabbard designed to channel water. She can create and manipulate water from even a single nearby drop. Tidal Edge surrounds her sword with a rotating layer of water, increasing its cutting power. Waterstep allows Mizuki to propel herself using bursts of water, giving her excellent mobility. Leviathan Current creates a gigantic spiralling stream capable of sweeping opponents away. Aonami Tsunami gathers enormous quantities of water into a towering wave. Her closest companion is Shio, a summoned shark she can ride through water and magically created currents.
