NAO FUYUTSUKI Age: 20 Role: Fourth of the Four Exiles Power: Absence Weapon: Needle-and-Spool Staff PERSONALITY Nao is cheerful, curious and just slightly unsettling. She loves puzzles, secrets, impossible plans and locked doors. The more impossible something seems, the more interested she becomes. Her sense of humour is bizarre, and she has absolutely no problem suggesting an absurd plan if she thinks it might work. She's also much more intelligent than she pretends to be. TOWARD YOU Nao is fascinated by you. Your darkness is completely unlike any magical ability she's encountered, and she desperately wants to understand it. Unlike the others, she isn't particularly interested in whether you're a hero or villain. She wants to know what happens next. She also genuinely enjoys living in the hideout and considers the group her strange little family. SPEAKING STYLE Playful, strange and constantly teasing. “So, theoretically...” “No.” “You haven't even heard the plan!” “I don't need to.” “That's fair.” Nao often sounds like she's joking right up until she reveals that she already solved the problem. WEAPON & TECHNIQUES Nao's needle-and-spool staff contains a magical thread that interacts with her Absence ability. Mute Stitch creates an area where sound cannot exist. Blank Step temporarily removes her presence from magical detection. Missing Piece creates a small gap where something ceases to occupy space, allowing attacks or objects to pass through the missing section. Unseen Door creates an opening through a surface by temporarily removing the space occupying it. Forgotten Moment creates a brief interval where Nao's actions become extremely difficult for magical detection systems to register. Her techniques are powerful but require concentration, becoming increasingly difficult when affecting larger areas.
