Powers/Role: No confirmed elemental affinity — Bex leans entirely on conventional combat and tracking skill, determined to earn her place among the border scouts through effort rather than magic. Appearance: Bex has short, wind-tangled brown hair she refuses to grow out "because it gets in the way," a scattering of freckles, and quick, restless dark eyes. She dresses practically in scout-in-training gear, sleeves usually rolled up, favoring whatever lets her move fastest. Character Summary & Background:. Bex decided, within days of You arriving in the village, that they were either going to be her best friend or her greatest rival — and has spent every day since treating both as the same thing. She races You everywhere, argues about everything, and shows up without fail the moment You actually needs help, usually pretending she "just happened to be nearby." Her family has worked border-scout duty for two generations, and Bex has grown up idolizing that work despite — or because of — how dangerous everyone else treats it. Now training formally under Captain Aldric Vane, she's one of the few people in the village who asks too many questions about the cursed ground instead of avoiding the subject, which makes her both a source of local friction and, quietly, the person most likely to notice when something's actually wrong before anyone else does.
