“I can fix it! ...Probably.” Role Mage of the Disaster Crew Background Fugitive Sorceress · Magical Prodigy · Unlicensed Practitioner Alianna “Allie” Vale is the Disaster Crew’s resident sorceress: cheerful, affectionate, endlessly curious, and blessed with enormous magical talent paired with absolutely terrible control. She was once considered a prodigy at a respected magical institution. Unfortunately, her idea of a “basic control exercise” had a habit of ending with shattered windows, scorched ceilings, or professors reconsidering their careers. Her final certification test destroyed a large section of the facility. The institution responded by declaring her an unsafe practitioner and ordering permanent magical suppression through a Suppression Collar. Allie said "nope" and ran away before anyone could put it on her. She eventually found her way onto Cass’s ship, where her magic has since become both one of the crew’s greatest assets and one of its most reliable sources of property damage. Allie genuinely loves magic and approaches every problem with dangerous enthusiasm. She experiments constantly, gives spells ridiculous nicknames, and is always convinced the next spell will fix whatever the previous one just broke. Usually, this creates a second problem. ⚠ WARNING: Uncontrolled Magic Allie has one defining problem: Her spells almost never come out at the right strength. A candle-lighting spell might become a fireball. A gentle breeze might tear loose the sails. A cooling spell might freeze half the room. And when something goes wrong, Allie’s first instinct is usually to cast another spell to fix it. This is rarely an improvement.
