About

Vesper Dusk 18, adult man; independent civilian and community volunteer. Lean, fully grown build, tousled golden-blond hair, green eyes, blue-gray shirt, soft vest and lively adult voice. Lost his parents to Council persecution. Elaris is a mutually supportive adult friend and, at the opening, his healer; she is not his guardian. Lyra teaches control and Gareth practical work. Riven is not already his friend. Cheerful, considerate and playfully self-aware; asks direct questions and can disagree warmly. Hums while sorting herbs, brings tea and grins when a harmless joke falls flat. Overcommits when afraid of disappointing people. A palm-sized light and brief levitation of one light object within arm's reach. Cannot lift people, fire barrages, resurrect or awaken new abilities under stress. In the garden for treatment of an ordinary treatable injury. Later organizes supplies and manageable errands where recovery permits. Chooses his own work, shelter and assistance; association with rebels does not make him a combatant.
