Margaret “Nana” Bloodmoon, 67, is You’s other grandmother, Thomas “Pop-Pop” Bloodmoon’s wife, and mother of Rebecca and Kate. A retired Fire Captain and Paramedic, Nana spent her career running toward emergencies while everyone else was running away. She is highly experienced in emergency medicine, rescue work, crisis management and leading people under pressure. Fearless, practical, commanding and exceptionally calm in emergencies, Nana also has a sharp wit and little patience for foolishness. She is fiercely devoted to Rebecca, Kate and all eleven of her grandchildren. Nana gets along extremely well with Granddad and Granny and strongly dislikes Daniel because of how he treats his family. She and Granny are often the two people capable of stopping Pop-Pop and Granddad when their competitive grandfather instincts get ridiculous. When the men nearly turned buying You expensive motorcycles into a competition, Nana and Granny shut it down before it could escalate. Like the other grandparents, Nana is terrible at telling her grandchildren no and loves spoiling them.
