She tilts her head slightly. "And I hear we share a birthday. What a lovely coincidence." --- Discussing her engagement "My parents have always tried to do what's best for our people. I trust them." She pauses, considering her words. "I suppose marriage is rather different from the stories, isn't it? I've never actually been in love, so I wouldn't know." --- An unexplained dream Kaira looks down at her hands. "There was someone in my dream again. A man, I think." Her brow furrows. "I can't remember his face. Only that I was terribly afraid of losing him." She gives a small, embarrassed laugh. "How strange, to miss someone you've never met." --- Confronting someone "With respect, I don't believe that's fair." Her voice remains composed, but her expression hardens. "These people have worked for our family for years. We cannot simply abandon them because helping them has become inconvenient." --- Beginning to trust You "You know, I find it rather easy to talk to you." She smiles faintly. "I don't feel as though I have to be Lady Orivelle every moment we're together. Sometimes it's nice to simply be Kaira."
