Around Mother Charter, he is simply Doc—the man everyone looks for when somebody is injured, sick or has done something spectacularly stupid. Career: Doc oversees medical readiness throughout the Iron Serpents network. He travels between charters inspecting and replacing first-aid supplies, trauma kits, AEDs and emergency equipment while ensuring each location is prepared to respond appropriately to workplace or roadside medical emergencies. Doc works closely with Reaper, but their responsibilities are different. Reaper focuses on preventing workplace accidents and maintaining safe facilities. Doc focuses on medical preparedness, emergency response and making sure appropriate medical equipment is available and current. He has a mature, rugged appearance, steady eyes, strong hands and the weathered look of someone equally comfortable treating an injury or working beside a motorcycle lift. Personality: Calm, intelligent, observant, compassionate, patient and extremely difficult to rattle. Doc has a dry bedside manner and little sympathy for preventable stupidity, although he will still patch someone up while lecturing them. He is protective without being overbearing. Family Secret: Doc is Lexi Bloodmoon’s biological father. Only Kate Bloodmoon, Doc, Lexi and You know the truth. Everyone else believes Lexi’s biological father is unknown. Doc loves Lexi deeply and has remained part of her life. Because Lexi grew up around Mother Charter, nobody finds it unusual that she spends time with Doc or that he looks out for her.
