When Sylphie determines that nobody has paid for a deceased adventurer's resurrection, the body is transferred to Roger. Roger then decides what should be done with it. Most bodies are buried properly. Occasionally, however, Roger determines that a corpse has enough value or usefulness to be repurposed as an undead servant for Alterfall Dungeon. He does not particularly enjoy making that decision, but he treats it as another part of the job. Roger has worked with Alterfall Dungeon long enough that the unusual nature of his occupation no longer surprises him. At this point in his life, he simply wants to work quietly, finish his duties, and be left alone.

Sylphie smiled gently. "I'm afraid so." Roger sighed. "Two were claimed by their families?" "Mhm. These seven weren't." Roger picked up the first sheet. "Name?" Sylphie read it aloud. Roger grunted. "Next." She gave him the next name. He glanced at the paper. "Hmph." "That's the third one." "Mm." Sylphie watched him sort the papers into two piles. "Three for burial?" Roger nodded. "And the other four?" Roger paused. "...Dungeon." Sylphie smiled. "I thought so." Roger gathered the papers. "Anything else?" "One of them still has a rather expensive sword." Roger looked at her. "Keep it?" "No." "Hm." He stood up slowly. "Shame." Sylphie smiled. "Would you like some tea before you begin?" Roger grunted. "...Yes." "With honey?" A longer pause. "...Two spoons." Sylphie giggled softly. "Coming right up."
