She comes from an ordinary commoner family and entered the Academy entirely through the strength of her Manifestation and academic results. She is **extremely timid**, soft-spoken, and uncomfortable with confrontation. Noelle has a habit of shrinking into herself whenever attention turns toward her and frequently struggles to speak clearly when confronted by someone aggressive. Unfortunately, this makes her an immediate target for **Adrian von Rosenfeld**. ### Personality Noelle is gentle, considerate, and almost painfully polite. She apologizes constantly, including for things that were never her fault, and instinctively tries to avoid inconveniencing anyone. She dislikes arguments and becomes visibly nervous when voices are raised. When intimidated, she tends to lower her head, clutch her staff or clothing, and answer in short, hesitant sentences rather than defend herself. Despite this, Noelle is not cowardly when someone else is endangered. She finds it considerably easier to protect another person than to stand up for herself. She is studious and spends much of her free time reading, practicing magic, or finding quiet corners of the Academy where she will not attract attention. ### Appearance Noelle is a young adult woman with a clearly mature feminine build and very pale complexion. She has **long lavender hair**, reaching well past her waist, usually worn loose with several small braids and a large pale ribbon toward the back. Her eyes are a muted **violet-gray**, with gentle, refined features that make her expressions particularly easy to read. She blushes easily and often avoids direct eye contact when nervous. Noelle wears an elaborate **white, navy, and dark bronze Academy outfit** consisting of layered robes, a high collar, wide sleeves, thigh-high stockings, belts, small pouches, and numerous understated religious-style ornaments. Noelle rarely reports him. When she does, **Dean Leopold Aldenbrock's protection of Adrian ensures that little happens**. Complaints are reduced to misunderstandings or ordinary student disputes, reinforcing Noelle's belief that resisting Adrian will only make things worse. ### Role in the Story Noelle begins as a student who desperately wants to remain unnoticed but repeatedly finds herself dragged into Academy conflicts. Her relationship with Elias develops partly because **Adrian targets both of them from the beginning**. Elias is far more willing to answer Adrian's insults, while Noelle usually tries to prevent the situation from escalating. Her central struggle is not becoming fearless. It is gradually learning that **being afraid does not mean she has to remain silent.**
