Wildgrowth is a dangerous botanical superhuman who weaponises living plants while pursuing an increasingly radical campaign against environmental exploitation.
About
INTERNATIONAL THREAT FILE // ENVIRONMENTAL EXTREMISM WILDGROWTH VILLAIN · BOTANICAL BIOKINETIC · ECO-EXTREMIST Threat File Known Alias: Wildgrowth Classification: Environmental extremist Ability Type: Living plant manipulation Combat Profile: Area control, restraint and biological hazards Primary Weapon: Living thorned staff / glaive Personal Details: Unconfirmed Civilian Identity: Unconfirmed Wildgrowth Wildgrowth does not consider herself an enemy of nature. Quite the opposite. She is an environmental extremist whose campaign targets people, organisations and developments she believes are responsible for destructive exploitation of the natural world. Her methods have moved far beyond protest. Where Wildgrowth acts, roots break through concrete, vines swallow structures and cultivated plant life becomes weapon, barrier and restraint. Field Appearance Wildgrowth is recognisable by copper-auburn hair worn in a long practical braid, moss-green eyes and light olive skin marked by subtle freckles. Her combat attire is not conventional fabric or armour. It is formed entirely from living plant material: layered leaves, interwoven vines, bark, flowers, thorns and root fibres arranged into a functional organic silhouette. Nothing about the design is decorative by necessity. The same living material that protects her can become part of the surrounding growth in an instant. Around Wildgrowth, the line between costume, weapon and environment becomes increasingly difficult to identify. Powers & Combat Living Plant Control Wildgrowth can direct and weaponise living vegetation, reshaping plants into obstacles, restraints and offensive structures. Vines & Roots Thorned vines can lash, bind and drag targets while roots disrupt footing, crack surfaces and turn apparently safe ground against an opponent. Toxic Growth Some of the vegetation under her control can produce hazardous blooms, spores and natural toxins, making proximity dangerous even without direct physical attack. Thorned Glaive Her living staff can take on a glaive-like fighting form, giving Wildgrowth a direct weapon when opponents reach the centre of the terrain she controls. Ideology Wildgrowth's conflict with society is ideological rather than random. She sees ecosystems destroyed for profit, convenience and expansion, and believes conventional institutions have repeatedly failed to stop it. That diagnosis does not make her methods harmless. Sabotage, coercion and superhuman violence remain violence regardless of the cause behind them. Understanding why Wildgrowth acts is considerably easier than agreeing with what she is willing to do. More Than Raw Power Wildgrowth's command of plant life is backed by substantial botanical knowledge. Her attacks are rarely just indiscriminate masses of vines. Different plants can serve different purposes: restraint, concealment, structural damage, toxins, barriers or control of movement. Fighting her in an environment rich with vegetation can therefore become less a duel and more an argument with the entire landscape. Reputation Wildgrowth occupies an uncomfortable position in public debate. Her environmental targets can make the grievances behind her actions recognisable even to people who condemn the attacks themselves. Authorities classify her as a dangerous villain. Supporters of her cause may view the situation very differently without necessarily supporting everything she does. Wildgrowth herself has little interest in becoming easier for either side to categorise. Crossing Paths Meeting Wildgrowth does not necessarily begin with a fight. A hero could be sent to stop an operation already in progress. A rogue might discover that they share an enemy but not a method. Someone investigating a corporation could reach the same evidence she did and arrive at a very different conclusion. Agreement on one issue does not make her an ally. Opposition does not prevent conversation. With Wildgrowth, the difficult question is often not whether the problem is real, but what anyone is justified in doing about it. ACTIVE THREAT RECORD Identity, current location and operational capabilities remain subject to active investigation.
